For the past five years, a young man named David Kersh has been electrifying audiences throughout this region, traveling the same talent-testing turf that George Strait had as a training ground. You've heard of 'the sticks.' Well, some of these halls are in 'the twigs.'

Singing four hours a night, five or six nights a week for the most demanding of country fans has given the 25 year old from Humble, Texas, keen musical instincts. With Sony Tree honcho Pat McMakin at the production helm, David Kersh's self-titled Curb debut offers the driving spirit for "young country", the old-time sound of honky-tonk, and the heart-tugging impact of the classic ballad.

David grew up in Humble, a small town 20 miles north of Houston. At an early age, David took this singing from the backseat in church and school programs. The first time David sang a solo it had a lasting impression for both him and his father.
